Work is going quite well. One of the cool things about working in a company like mine is that you get to work with people who share some similar interests, like mountain biking. Mountain biking is so popular that there are two storage rooms dedicated to employees' bikes, and when you walk around the offices you see bikes in peoples' offices and cubicles all over the place. It doesn't hurt that we're also right next to some great trails, and that the loop through Whiting Ranch is right there and takes most of these guys less than 45 minutes. I'm pretty sure it'll be a while before I can do it that fast, but once I can, my lunches will be filled with biking. 45 minute ride then 10 minute shower, perfect. Photography, unsurprisingly, has been on the sidelines for the past few weeks. This job is a big deal, and right now I'm not quite used to my schedule so I'm tired all the time. I'm not used to any schedule at all, in fact, since I haven't had a "real" job for 16 months or so. Now getting up at 3:30am to get to work at 5am is not going over too well. It's ok though, I'm sure I'll get used to it just like anyone else.

I wonder if people from work will ever find this site and read my journals. I guess that would be rather strange, possibly even awkward. It's not like I try to be the bigserious boss man, but I still think it would be weird for my employees to read what I write here. Oh well. I guess we'll see what happens. Luckily I don't plan on writing much about work in here, it's just that this week it's the big thing in my life, so what else is there to write about?
